Stage school col­lects cash for hos­pice at show

KIRKLEES Col­lege stu­dents were given a cook­ing demon­stra­tion from a Miche­lin star chef.

Guillermo Cor­ral from Sosa In­gre­di­ents for Mod­ern Gas­tron­omy has worked in var­i­ous Miche­lin star restau­rants through­out Spain.

He came to Kirklees Col­lege for an event run in con­junc­tion with To­tal Foods. Chefs in Kirklees and sur­round­ing ar­eas were in­vited to join staff and stu­dents at the col­lege for a demon­stra­tion of mod­ern gas­tron­omy tech­niques us­ing Sosa prod­ucts.

In ad­di­tion, Clary Wil­son demon­strated tech­niques to stu­dents us­ing a tan­door oven to pro­duce breads and tikka spe­cial­i­ties.

For­mer Kirklees Col­lege stu­dent, Lashaun Price, demon­strated healthy dishes from his range at Prep Kitchen, Hud­der­s­field.
