Prince Harry and Meghan’s Xmas cheer

MIRANDA Hart gets a big kiss from David Tennant in first-look pictures from the comedian’s Christmas programme next Wednesday on Channel 4.

Miranda Does Christmas sees Hart joined by a host of celebrity guests, including The Great British Bake Off’s Prue Leith, singer Sam Smith and Strictly Come Dancing star Susan Calman.

But the comedian’s kiss with the former Doctor Who star – who has dyed his hair red for his new series Good Omens – appears to be the highlight. ROMANTIC images of Prince Harry and his bride-to-be Meghan Markle have been released by the couple to mark their engagement.

An intimate black and white portrait of the couple embracing has been published alongside this endearing but more formal picture of the couple sat together holding hands.

The photographs were taken by fashion and celebrity photographer Alexi Lubomirski earlier this week at Frogmore House, Windsor.

Mr Lubomirski said: “It was an incredible honour to be asked to document this wonderful event, but also a great privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for one another.

“I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together.”

The couple will spend Christmas at Sandringham with the Royal Family.

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh began their break yesterday like many others – going home by train.

They arrived at King’s Lynn station in Norfolk after travelling from London.

The Queen and Philip caught a late morning service from King’s Cross station, first class.

Sandringham, the Queen’s private estate in Norfolk, is a short journey from King’s Lynn and she will spend the Christmas period and new year at her home with Philip.

The royal family traditionally join the monarch and her consort for part of the festive period and attend the Christmas Day service at a church on the Sandringham estate.
