Chester’s win over them though will give head coach Gareth Lewis’ side cause for optimism – particularly after their own recent run of good form.
“It was unfortunate last week’s game didn’t go ahead but it gives us an extra week’s recovery,” said Lewis.
“But we now have the opportunity to regroup as a squad.
“Hinckley are having an outstanding season and have only been beaten on three occasions this season – so we are clearly the underdogs going into the coming game.
“However, we are on a pretty good run of form ourselves and will go down there with no fear and to give our best shot and end 2017 on a high.”
Huddersfield’s Rueben Pollard has agreed to join New Zealand club side Waimea Old Boys in March.
