Deighton rallied as Jonathan Heslop beat Adams with a deciding 11-9 fifth game and Aleksandrzak beat Neil Crosland to draw the match.
A fightback by Greetland in their match with Wilshaw B could not be sustained.
After trailing 1-3 they levelled the match with a Garry Jowett and Barry Drain doubles win plus a Jowett singles win. Wilshaw then claimed the final four sets of the match with a couple from Garry Crossley and one each from Francis Cioffi and Alan Carter.
The three sets gained by Greetland were a slight improvement on their match against Marsh Con A in the previous week. David Wood (3), Tony Stead (2), Ian Tweedale (2) and a Tweedale and Wood doubles win saw Marsh home 8-2.
Another 8-2 score line helped Kingsmith Engineering A continue their fine run of form as Shaun Ellis (3), Steve Hanson (3) and Phil Schofield (1) contributed to their win over Scissett WMC A.
Derek Moorhouse stepped up from the Division Two side and chipped in with a set to add to Keith Skarz (3) and Frazer Krischke (2) for a Woodfield Park A 7-3 win at Kingsmith Engineering B.
