Paxman’s pensioner attack is shameful act

-

JEREMY Paxman’s comments about denying pensioners the vote, winter fuel and other benefits are spoken with all the arrogance we have come to expect from this dysfunctional TV personality.

Oxbridge educated, does he not realise very few pensioners received a university education?

This sneering millionaire has no idea of how little the widows pension and married women’s pension is or has increased.

At 67 it matters little to him which government is in power.

But to deny the vote to millions whose votes for a Government that cares for them makes all the difference he is causing intergenerational conflict in order to maintain his once high profile TV career.

Grow up Paxo (the stuffing nickname suits you) or you will be remembered only as the question master who smiled contemptuously at students giving wrong answers - while you had them in front of you! JUST so we know where we stand, two former heads of the civil service have been in the news frothing that Leave voting critics of the civil service are like Nazis in 1930s Germany or that we are like “snake oil salesmen”.

Our civil service impartial? I don’t think so. This comes on top of a death threat sent to an 80-year-old Leave voter.

It is clear our entire Establishment - civil service, political parties, government, MSM, BBC, universities - is dominated by the Remain agenda.

Indeed, continuity Remain knows that the end result of the EU journey to “ever closer union” is a United States of Europe, but they won’t admit it, just as Tory PM Ted Heath also covered it up.

The question should always be who gains by this assiduous promotion of the EU? Is it the ordinary Leave voter? Of course not.

I have never heard or seen a single ordinary Leave voter say he voted for direct personal gain. Indeed, we are told incessantly by Remain that we will lose.

Yet clearly if the EU wins then the EU gains. A lot.

And the rich and powerful in the Establishment and in the big corporations gain.

And the civil service gains power by being the conduit for EU control.

That alone should make any who are tempted to be the EU’s “useful idiots” think again.
