ROBYN Hartley scored a stunning hat trick as Town Ladies Developmen­t side dominated in a 5-1 win over Newcastle United Reserves.

Katie Halligan gave Town the lead on five after Ella McCamon flicked on a corner.

Keeper Isobel Pare could do nothing with the equaliser, but Town went ahead again with the best goal of the game – Sharone Bucklke, Laura Walker and McCamon combining to set up Hartley for a cracking finish.

Hartley doubled her tally after more good build-up play from McCamon, Beth Allen and Halligan and Town kept their momentum.

Hartley completed her hat trick on 55 minutes before new signing Liuli Dyson was introduced 15 minutes from the end and scored with a clever lob.

On Sunday the Developmen­t team entertain Hull City (2pm).

Town Academy are at home to Sheffield Wednesday Reserves on Sunday (2pm).

In the League Cup, the Ladies Under 16s beat Barnsley 5-2 to reach the semi-finals.

Olivia Burgin put Town ahead, but an equaliser came before Macy Ellis restored the advantage. Ellis scored again to give Town breathing space but, again, Barnsley hit back.

Harriet Waller notched Town’s fourth before Ellis completed her hat trick.

The Under 14s won 2-0 at Barnsley to go three points clear at the top of Division One.

Tamara Wilcock gave Town a second-half lead and Scarlett Taylor got a cracker.

On Saturday the Under 14s are at Rovers Foundation in the League Cup (11am).

Town Under 12s won 3-2 at Crosspool – after being two down in just 23 minutes!

Jess Radley, Maddie Hall and Daisy Turner got the Town goals. Martha Taylor-Williams was player of the match.

The Under 12s have no game this weekend while the Under 10s are at home to Barnsley on Saturday (10.30).
