GOOD SPORTS! F

-

ROM Michael McIntyre and cartoon character Daddy Pig terrifying Andy Murray in the middle of the night, to Zoe Ball cycling a gruelling 350 miles from Blackpool to Brighton, there has already been plenty going on in the name of Sport Relief.

But the fundraising spectacle comes together tonight for a bumper evening of live entertainment, music and comedy, hosted by a stream of presenters including Gary Lineker, Davina McCall, Ore Oduba, Paddy McGuinness, Claudia Winkleman and Freddie Flintoff.

Elsewhere, there’s plenty to look forward to, including a footie special of Strictly Come Dancing – Alex Scott, Chris Kamara and David Ginola don their sequins – and 5-Live-ASide, which sees Robbie Savage’s celebrity all-star five-a-side football team attempt twelve hours of non-stop football.

Celebs including Helen Skelton and Wayne Bridge have their mouth guards at the ready for a series of boxing bouts and comedian John Bishop sets out on a mission to help England win the World Cup, teaching the current players the values of the 1966 winning team.

Watch out for Rob Brydon’s Swimming With Men, a sketch with the cast of his upcoming film, which includes Daniel Mays and Rupert Graves.

And there’s also a Clash Of The Channels Boat Race and Quizmaster Sue Barker hosts a special edition of A Question of Sport.

But of course, let’s not forget the reason for all of this – this year’s emotional appeal films have a special focus on maternal health, malaria and mental health, which will encourage us to dig deep and donate.
