Huddersfie­ld’s bowling season kicks off on Sunday with the Triples Final at Thongsbrid­ge.

It’s a 1pm start in the event sponsored by Titanic Spa, and eight triples will contest the honours.

There are two teams in the field that have previously won the competitio­n.

Andrew Cairns, Andrew Wadsworth and Ian Briggs won in 2013 and 2014.
