News /Jet2 switches terminals

-

JET2.COM has switched some of its flights to a different Manchester Airport terminal.

Passengers will now use Terminal Two if they are travelling to or from Lanzarote, Malaga, Palma and Tenerife.

The changes only apply to flights to these destinations, while all other Jet2.com flights will still operate from Terminal One as normal. It comes as the airport gears up for the busy peak summer season.

The airline is encouraging any passengers who have queries about their journey to get in touch with them before they fly.

The airport has issued guidance on what to do for anyone who will now be flying from Terminal Two, but had already booked airport parking, lounges or assistance for terminal one.

Anyone who has made a car park booking is asked to call the customer contact centre to talk through their options.

Jet Parks car park users should continue as normal to the car park and board the bus for Terminal Two.

Meet and greet bookings meanwhile, will be switched to Terminal Two.

Travellers booked for a short stay/multi-storey/long stay for Terminal One will be offered a free upgrade to an alternative product at Terminal Two.

Anyone with a lounge booking who is now due to depart from a different terminal is to contact customer service to discuss their options.

Those who have a Fast Track booking should call customer services to amend it.

All affected Jet2.com customers will be offered Fast Track in T2 terminal, if they have a valid booking for T1 Fast Track. This relates to both Security Fast Track and Passport Control Fast Track.

Customers who have booked special assistance should head to the special assistance reception point in Terminal Two and will receive the same assistance.

The check in desk meanwhile, will be located at the right-hand side of Terminal Two for flights to Lanzarote, Malaga, Palma and Tenerife.
