TENERIFE is set to be the most popular destination for families going abroad this May halfterm.

Majorca, the Costa Brava and Orlando, Florida, are also proving popular for those in search of some early summer sun, according to TravelSupermarket.

When it comes to short breaks over the bank holiday weekend, it is city breaks in Amsterdam, Barcelona and Rome taking the top spots, just ahead of Prague and Paris.
