WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

-

There are very few pubs close to the stadium itself, other than food outlets in the nearby Westfield Shopping Centre which also serve booze. There are a number of pubs in the centre of Stratford, including The Langthorne and The Olde Black Bull.

Many pubs around the ground demand the production of a home match ticket to guarantee entry.

However, the Hogshead on the corner of Stafford Street, the Bohemian Bar on Lichfield Street, the Stonehouse Bar on Queen Street and The Bluebrick inside the Premier Inn hotel located near to the railway station, are popular choices.

“Stadium itself seems a little sterile. It is a good space marred by the superstructure blocking the view to some degree when sitting in higher seating. Not the best experience.”

“Beautifully constructed stadium with pretty excellent facilities inside. Two problems. It’s a long walk from the station and it isn’t a football ground.”

“Good atmosphere, distance view high up in the stands for away supporters. Team colours very evident, staff friendly and supportive. Parking difficult for larger vehicles as all car parking within the area had height barriers.

“Stadium clean and staff are friendly. Food isn’t too bad and prices aren’t the highest compared to other stadiums. Staff are helpful at the stadium and are generally smiley.”
