He his nine fours and eight sixes in his 60-ball knock, sharing a firstwicket stand of 155 with Chris Holliday (95 off 45 deliveries with eight fours and seven sixes).

Skelmanthorpe were sent back for just 67 in reply with Tawkal Zadran taking five for 12 in three overs and Adnan Ghani three for 19.

Golcar scored a second win in Group Three, this time by nine wickets at Barkisland.

Jake Finch hit 44 not out for the hosts, but they were restricted to 132-7 thanks to Will Hinchliffe, Sam Mills and Jake Lockwood taking two wickets each.

Abdul Wahid was 49 not out and Craig Ruscoe 59 not out as Golcar reached their target in 14.1 overs.

Mirfield Parish won the derby against Moorlands by five wickets.

Moorlands were 135 all out, Nicky Smith top scoring on 32, and Parish knocked those off with seven balls to spar, Aidan Hawkesworth hitting 39, Jonathan Hellings 38 and Daniel Hope 36 not out.

Top scorer of the round in Group Four was Simon Kelly, who helped Honley to a second victory with 127 not out against Shelley at Far End Lane.

Kelly carried his bat, facing just 66 balls and hitting 13 fours and six sixes, as Honley posted 217-2.

Honley’s attack then shared the wickets as Shelley were held at 1427, Martin Sykes top scoring with 30 off 17 balls.

Tom Chadwick hit 70 off 43 balls with eight fours and four sixes as Scholes defeated Shepley to record their first win.

Tom Brook also scored 41 as Scholes reached 201-7 despite a three for 29 haul from Archie Greaves.

Shepley made a bright start through John Anderson (31) and Tom Denton (23) but spinner Yaasar Imtiaz pegged them back with a fine three for 15 and, with Tom Brook later claiming three for 29 Shepley were all out for 116.
