YOU may be aware that the British Heart Foundation is the nation’s leading heart charity.

For more than 50 years we’ve pioneered research in the fight against heart and circulatory disease.

Last year our shops and stores raised more than £31 million nationwide.

This could not have been made possible without the help of our local community.

As you may be aware, our charity shop on New Street, Huddersfield, relies on the generosity of public donations. We take almost anything; from clothing, shoes and handbags, to DVDs, books and bric-a-brac.

We also offer a free home collection service for all customers.

Another crucial part of the British Heart Foundation’s success is volunteers.

People of all ages, from different walks of life, giving their free time to help. Whether it’s making our customers feel special as a customer assistant, working as a department specialist co-ordinating our books, or finding hidden gems as a stock room assistant. We simply couldn’t make ground-breaking discoveries in research without them.

We appreciate every single person who has helped and continue to help us throughout.
