The away team, meanwhile, recorded a stunning nine winners with a man-of-the-match display coming from Almondbury’s Matthew Richardson, 21-9.

The victory for the Colne Valley sees a remarkable run of success for the team as they entered into the Federation League five years ago and have since won every division in their pursuit of competing in the Federation’s top league.
