Inghams has introduced a number of new additions to its programme for winter 2018/ 2019. It includes four new resorts, including Solden in Austria, which James Bond fans will recognise from Spectre.

A brand new cinematic experience, 007 Elements , will entertain visitors this winter.

La Clusaz in France, meanwhile, will appeal to those looking to build confidence, with lots of green and blue runs and ski joering: getting pulled along on skis by a horse.

Samoens in France is a wellpreserved historic village (famed by its stonemasonry) within France’s fourth largest interlinked ski area, the Grand Massiff.

Courmayeur in Italy meanwhile, is in the shadow of Mont Blanc, its ultra-modern Skyway Gondola featured in last year’s spy-flic movie Kingsman: The Golden Circle, starring Colin Firth.

The tour operator is also introducing new twin-cente holidays in Canada, with two resorts from £1,819 per person.

New hotels meanwhile include four-star La Folie Douce Hotel in Chamonix, France.

One of the biggest names in apres ski has decided to push the boundaries and open a hotel, which Inghams is featuring for the coming winter season.

The Grand Savoy Palace, which has stood in Chamonix since 1904, is currently undergoing a massive makeover, transforming it into a modern, stylish retreat with ski-in, ski-out access, daily entertainment, a large spa area with yoga available, a laid-back cocktail menu and a friendly children’s club.

Champoluc, Italy. This ‘eco resort’ will combine natural materials with contemporary design and plush furnishings when it opens this winter.

Its aim is to bring the cutting edge of sustainability and luxury to the Italian Alps.
