IN the Ballcraft Engravers Huddersfield Bowling League, the last four cups complete their matches this Saturday.

In the Littlewood Cup, Golcar Lib finish the season with their bye week and hold a precious lead of 13 points over challengers Lower Hopton WMC B, with Lindley BC a further point back.

Linthwaite C&BC will be travelling upwards from the top of the Bamforth Cup, with Elland CA&BC favourites to accompany them in the second promotion place.

Milnsbridge Lib and Netherton Con B are already doomed at the bottom.

The fight for promotion from the Ingham Cup appears to be a three-horse race between Elland WMC, Thorpe Green B&SC and Broad Oak BC B, with the latter two meeting in the last match at Moldgreen Con.

In the 10-man Beaumont Cup, Slaithwaite C&BC B have already tied up the one promotion place, with Grange Moor BC taking the second-place prize.
