Help plea as wind blows in problems for older people

-

SINCE we have had these high winds we are bombarded with leaves.

It is like a forest up our street. The trees also shed lots of conkers and it is so untidy.

People come up from all over the area with their children, and we see them stamping on the outside of the conkers to get the conkers out and it leaves a right mess.

My husband is disabled and has to do his best to clean up all around as it trails into our house on our shoes.

The council doesn’t consider the older people I would suggest.

Why doesn’t the Government get all the layabouts off their backsides and make them earn their money by getting them out cleaning the streets?

We would contact our councillors, but haven’t any idea who they are. of Lindley Moor Road and those who commute daily being forced to put up with more roadworks, more standing traffic and more pollution?

How many times have contractors on Lindley Moor ripped up the same piece of road?

The planners, highways, or whoever is in charge, should have insisted that all the services were put on to all the sites at one go.

Surely someone in authority ought to have overseen the problems they cause, or are they clueless?

The contractors have said to me they’ve never worked on a site where there was so much water.

I told him to go and ask the landlord at the pub across the road why it’s called the Wappy Springs.
