Thief’s warning to girl after finding her in bed

October 3 at 8.30pm: A suspect lifted a stone slab from a pavement on Almondbury Bank but was spotted and made off.

October 6 3.45am: Between three and five suspects entered a garden on Highgate Avenue, Lepton, but left - possibly when they heard a baby crying.

October 7 at 4pm: A thief stole luggage from a VW Transporte­r parked on Wood Street, Slaithwait­e.

A driver left a broken down Clio in an unnamed pub car park which is then stolen.

October 4 at 2.22am: A ground floor window was smashed at a house on Woodside Road, Beamont Park. Nothing is believed to have been taken.

October 6 at 11pm: Aluminium steps, a chainsaw and a hedge trimmer were taken from a shed on Balmoral Avenue.

A man was given a community resolution penalty by police after he was seen shovelling stone into several buckets and then putting them in his car boot. The location has not been disclosed.

October 1 at 9.15am: A camouflage air rifle was stolen from a house on School Lane, Kirkheaton.

October 1 at noon: A purse containing cards and money was taken from a house on St Mary’s Lane, Kirkheaton.

October 6 at 9.15am: A house was broken into on Albany Drive, Dalton, but nothing was taken.

October 5 at 5pm: A thief stole a hot tub from a garden on Vicarage Road, Longwood

October 7 at 6pm: Items were stolen a Peugeot Expert van parked on Station Road, Golcar.

October 8 at 7pm: Items were taken from a locked vehicle on Banks Crescent, Golcar.

October 4 at 10.30am: Thieves broke into a four-bed detached house on Paul Lane, Flockton Moor, and stolen property worth £4,200. They had used a brick to smash a patio door.

October 5 at 7pm: A thief stole a Honda Civic from Brook Meadows, Denby Dale. It was later found crashed into a wall.

October 5 at 8pm: A large number of commercial power tools were taken from premises at Nortonthor­pe Mills.

October 5 at 9.30pm: A pair of specs was taken from a VW Tiguan parked on Rockwood Rise, Denby Dale.

October 7 at 11am: Items were taken in a break-in on Pennine Drive, Scissett.

October 7 at 3pm: Five suspects aged from 10 to 14 threw bricks through a window at premises on Sunnybank. They were approached and then left.

October 6 at 3.45am: Suspects fled after breaking a back door lock at a house on Laund Road.

Three cars were stolen in a house burglary along with two mountain bikes. Two of the cars were later found by police. The date and location has not been disclosed.

October 2 at 5pm: uPVC doors were broken down at a house on Cross Lane at Primrose Hill but nothing was stolen.

A handbag containing jewellery and a guitar was stolen from a house after a thief threw a brick through an kitchen window.

The victim objected to the incident being made public.
