A new range of goodies has been released featuring designs by a local artist.
Meghan Earle’s four designs are inspired by the club and local area, and feature Huddersfield landmarks including the train station, Emley Moor mast, Castle Hill and the Yorkshire rose.
The pen and ink designs can be found on a range of products in the club’s three shops – at the John Smith’s Stadium, and in the Packhorse and Kingsgate shopping centres.
The range includes slate, wooden and acrylic coasters, bookmarks, keyrings, Christmas decorations, tea towels, mugs and aprons.
Meghan, who runs her business Meghan Earle Designs from Independence House in Huddersfield, said: “I first approached the club with the idea earlier this year and I was thrilled when they asked me to create some artwork to be used on club merchandise.
“Each design includes elements of the former HTAFC logo and incorporates added elements which represent the town of Huddersfield.
“It is the first time I have made slate merchandise or aprons and it’s the biggest order I’ve had so will give me and the local businesses I use to produce my work a real boost.
“I have had so much support for my business and have been made to feel really welcome since I moved to Huddersfield and I have tried to convey the warmth and character of this very special part of Yorkshire in my work.”
Meghan is now designing merchandise for local charities including Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
