Can there ever be an Abi ever after? P

-

OOR loves her children more than anything, but she is beginning to think they’d be better off without her.

With her job at Streetcars not going well due to her inability to master the computer system, she’s lacking in confidence. So when she discovers that the twins’ foster parents are planning to take them to Lapland for Christmas, she decides it’s probably time to let them go forever and plunges into self-destruct mode by downing quantities of vodka while watching them play in the garden.

Later, she calls Tracy in a terrible state – and is eventually rushed to hospital after being found by her friend unconscious on Victoria Street, having added drugs to the mix.

Seb reveals how her life has imploded after being accused of sabotaging Michelle’s car, making Tracy feel very guilty indeed. But matters get worse when she confesses all.

Then, to complete the bout of misery, a social worker tells Abi her contact with the twins has been suspended due to her relapse.

Later Seb is so angry that he trashes Tracy’s florists but Abi steps in to protect him and grabs cash from the till, so that the police will think it is all down to her.

Tracy is also stunned by the details of daughter Amy’s ‘contract’. Having signed it without even reading it, she and Steve are horrified when Amy points out certain clauses and threatens to divorce her parents if they don’t adhere to them.

Elsewehere Nick offers Simon some advice and comes clean to Leanne, while Audrey and Maria finally bury the hatchet. AS Mercedes’ wedding day dawns, she’s convinced that, unlike her other marriages, this one is going to last – which is surprising as she starts the week trying to find out why Russ has given her necklace to Goldie.

There’s more drama on the big day as guests Janet Street Porter and Linda Robson arrive late, but will there be any more hitches in store?

No matter what happens, it seems the happy couple shouldn’t expect the Wags to raise a toast to them as Liam takes his revenge by holding them prisoner in Grace’s office, where he plans to serve one of them a poisoned cocktail. DEAN and Colby, pictured, decide it’s time to clean up Karen’s house, but the visit yields unexpected information about the possible identity of Dean’s father.

Curiosity gets the better of Dean and he and Colby start looking for him.

Meanwhile, Ryder’s 18th birthday passes without anybody but Raffy remembering it. When the penny drops for Alf and Roo, they try to make amends but the damage has already been done.
