Spotlight on HRI’s care and dedication
HUDDERSFIELD Royal Infirmary means so much to so many people in the town.
Whether you’ve been a visitor, a patient or a member of staff, the HRI has drawn people from all over the district, be it by car, foot or the number 371 bus swinging round the Bay Horse roundabout.
Thousands of pounds have been raised for a variety of good causes, helping provide equipment, training facilities, toys for the children’s ward, laser technology and who can Huddersfield Royal Infirmary Day Surgery Unit (DSU) in 2011. Whatever happens to our hospital, we should never forget the nurses, doctors, porters, cleaners, volunteers and everyone else who has made what is potentially a worrying time a better experience to all concerned.
Let’s hope the right decisions are made.
