Bully demonised out of all proportion to crime

-

They haven’t even emptied our recycling bins on the last 2 collections (followed by 2 complaints and no reply) so it is hardly surprising when they can’t even be bothered to empty the bins A FEEDBACK correspondent recently asked “What’s the point of giving £160,000 to a bullied pupil?” (Examiner, December 13)

What indeed. But what of the real bullies; the politicians who proselytise for war and their corporate sponsors who have deliberately destroyed the countries the refugees have fled from while heedless of the children killed and starved in the process?

More intriguing to me is what makes the bullying of a schoolboy worthy of national and international headlines?

We are encouraged to believe that the assault was prompted by his overseas origin but is this even proven?

Everyone knows that bullying is as old as original sin. Bullies will always find an excuse to bully.

Those creating mayhem in the Middle East and elsewhere are having to double down on their ‘culture wars’ at home.

We have to be made to believe that the migration resulting from their wars is our moral responsibility.

The hapless bully in this soap opera has been demonised out of all proportion to his crime.

This is not about preventing bullying. It is about preventing thought on the immigration issue and outlawing dissent.

Meanwhile the authors of such a predictable scenario remain unnoticed, unapologetic and unpunished. day Prime Minister and in a speech to Parliament said: “You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately… In the name of God go” then dissolved the assembly and took charge of the country!

Unfortunately we see exactly the same occurring in 2018, with the Westminster and London elite, the Lib-Dem dominated House of Lords, and the socalled ‘educated establishment’ fully intending “to thwart” the will of 17.4m people who voted to leave the EU in 2016.

Moreover, the true facts are 80% of both Conservative and Labour constituencies [approx 400] were elected to Parliament in 2017 on Brexit manifestos!

Hence, when a local MP stands up in the House of Commons and demands a so-called ‘people’s vote’ they have conveniently forgotten ‘Kirklees’ voted 55% to Leave!

Indeed, within Colne Valley alone, the Lib-Dems stood on a “Remain” platform and were obliterated at the polls with a Labour candidate then being elected!

Thus concluding us ‘uneducated’ Northern types [unquote] ALL with “flat caps and ferrets” over 45 years of EU membership have seen their failings and with the help of a £9m Governmentfunded leaflet knew exactly what we were voting for in relation to taking back control of our UK laws – monies, taxes and immigration policies!

Thus to question such a decisive democratic outcome is going down ‘a very dangerous political road’, but I fully agree the present EU/UK divorce settlement needs to be revisited especially on the Northern Ireland “backstop” proposals.
