TAKE THAT REUNITE TO RELIGHT OUR FIRES

-

LO OK at the jaw lines!” exclaims Robbie Williams. The singer, along with current band members Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald, is watching footage from when Take That first started out.

“We were dead good then, in time and everything,” laughs Howard, although he’s not impressed with his 1990s haircut. As Take That mark 30 years since forming in 1989, one of Britain’s most successful and best-loved bands is celebrated in this special one-off.

In the doc, the band members reunite to share favourite memories and reflect on three decades in the spotlight, while also revealing candid, previously unseen material that they’ve shot over the years.

And it won’t be the only reunion – there’s a get together for the boys’ biggest fans of all, the five proud Take That mums.

We’ll get a glimpse of the preparations for their anniversary album, and see them in the studio with Bee Gees legend Barry Gibb.

And the band will take us on a guided tour of significant Take That locations, with some memorable fan surprises along the way. Watch out for the moment Gary, Mark and Howard surprise the Manchester Survivors Choir, a choir made up of parents and children directly affected by the 2017 Manchester bombing.

“They sound much better than us,” laughs Gary, before they join in with the version of Never Forget. The film will also feature fans, sharing their stories of how the band touched their lives, and in some cases changed their world completely.
