New Potting Shed bar and smokehouse to open soon

-

HALIFAX’S new Potting Shed bar is finally set to open after months of delays.

The venue on Fountain Street in Halifax town centre will consist of three floors.

A FIREPIT sports bar and smokehouse restaurant will be on the basement floor, the Potting Shed bar will be on the ground floor and above that will be a rooftop garden terrace.

The grand opening will be on Friday, February 8, from 6pm.

This will be almost five months after the original launch was delayed due to unforeseen issues on site.

The Potting Shed chain already has several locations dotted around West Yorkshire, including in Leeds, Bingley and Guiseley.

Visitors to the Halifax bar will be able to enjoy the menu of light bites, pizzas and burgers on the rooftop garden terrace among the flowers and fauna. Cocktails will even be served in plant pot inspired containers.

FIREPIT is the smokehouse grill restaurant and sports bar counterpart to Potting Shed. The Halifax outlet will be the chain’s fourth location after Bingley,

Beverley and Southport.

Football, boxing and more will be shown live on a massive 3metres by 1.5metres HD screen. There will also be games, like shuffleboard, darts and pool available to hire.

Potting Shed and FIREPIT’s Head of Marketing and Promotions, Isaac Mayne, said: “Interest has been incredibly high from the public and we’ve already received a high number of bookings to attend the opening night.

“There is nowhere like this in Halifax at the moment.

“This venue benefits from the contrasting vibes of Potting Shed’s botanical charm, and FIREPIT’s smokehouse food and live sport.

“It means that the two bars work together perfectly - offering very unique experiences within close proximity.”
