Giants and sponsors join together to celebrate partnership
A FULL house is expected for today’s Giants Sponsors Lunch, where the club recognises and celebrates the impact of the sponsors and partners working together for the Huddersfield Giants.
The event is being held at the John Smith’s Stadium – and record numbers are expected to attend.
Pete Emmett is set to host the popular lunch, which will be attended by nearly 150 guests.
It will include a three-course meal and the Giants’ firstteam squad, who take to the field for the first time this season for Michael Lawrence’s testimonial match against Bradford on Sunday (3pm), will also be there.
Sponsors and partners are the focus of the lunch, which brings together the businesses from around Huddersfield which make the Giants successful.
RC Solutions, the pitch care firm, are sponsoring the event on behalf of the club.
The lunch will also come on the same day as the launch of the Giants’ 2019 squad numbers, and sponsors will have the chance to meet players and get a chance hear from commercial director Andrew Watson.
Commercial manager Brian Blacker said: “This event is one of the highlights of our commercial year, and it gives us a chance to celebrate the work of our commercial partners
“We’re really excited to see some familiar faces and meet new partners and we look forward to an enjoyable afternoon.”
