Bacuna could be solution for Terriers midfield
JUNINHO Bacuna could be a frontrunner to replace Jonathan Hogg in midfield against Bournemouth.
Manager Jan Siewert said he will be looking at performances in training before making a final decision.
“I have to search solutions, and it depends on how the players perform in training,” he said.
“Hoggy won’t be able to play, so I have to find solutions. I have found one, but if it’s Baca I can’t tell you at the moment.
“After the Wolves game it was about the players who deserved to start.
“They had a fantastic game against Wolves but, unfortunately, we had to make early substitutions at Brighton.
“We will have a look at things in training and then I can make my final decisions.”
Siewert also spoke about the punishing nature of Premier League football, which Town again fell the victim to in a late defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion in their last outing.
Siewert added: “It’s hard if you lose a game just because of one goal and one situation. It never feels good and I realise in my time here that the Premier League punishes you directly, so it doesn’t feel good at the moment.
“I hate losing. When I am angry, I am angry and it takes time for me to calm down.
“Sometimes you make a step forward and two steps back, but sometimes you make three jumps forward.
“I would say this is normal. It’s a difficult situation. I knew it and nothing has changed for me.
“I am looking at our performances and we have to judge ourselves on those performances. Losing a game with just one goal is hard to take.”
