Conference is back as a firm favourite
THE largest business conference in Kirklees returns on Wednesday.
Kirklees Business Conference is held at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium from 9.30am-2.30pm.
The event, organised by the Mid-Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, will see a day full of seminars and workshops, free business clinics and networking. Kirklees businesses and organisations will also be exhibiting and showing the best of what the area has to offer.
Starting with a business breakfast at 8am, the exhibition opens fully at 9am where attendees will have the opportunity to grab a coffee and meet with exhibitors or catch up in the networking areas.
Attercopia and the Huddersfield Business School will be offering free business clinics during this time, covering topics such as helping businesses with public sector procurement, degree apprenticeships and accessing student talent plus much more.
There will be two work- shops led by industry experts.
The first at 9.30am will see David Abbott’s The Psychology of Pricing workshop. David is an international speaker and experienced marketer who has had senior positions in a wide range of industries.
The second workshop at 11.20am will be led by Katrina Cliffe, MD and founder of PR and Marketing Agency KC Communications,
The Power of PR.
Sandwiched between the workshops will see the Kirklees: The Place to Make It session.
The panel, hosted by Jason McCartney, will consist of Jacqui Gedman, CEO of Kirklees Council, Steve Moore of CityFibre and Peter Brandon of Revitalised Huddersfield.
