Kitty Cafe, in Leeds city centre, found jars of donations and staff tips stolen.

The cats that live at the cafe are safe and happy - but the cafe was forced to close to clear up the broken glass and mess left behind by the thief.

Manager Holly Cousins said she was alerted by the cafe’s security provider and arrived at the cafe in Kirkgate to discover a large side window smashed the jars stolen.

CCTV pictures show a burglar at the front desk, where the donation boxes are kept.
