JAN Siewert wouldn’t be drawn on Jonas Lossl’s future at

Town.

The Danish keeper (pictured) revealed last week that he was ‘tired of losing’ having been part of the team which sits bottom of the Premier League.

After last weekend’s loss to Bournemouth, the club’s 22nd in the league this season, he said: “I’m really frustrated about this. I’m just tired of losing. We’ve won one game in the past three months. It’s not enough for anybody here. Not in the stadium, not for us as professionals.”

The 30-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Marseille and Monaco are said to be interested in signing him.

But Siewert said he wanted to focus on today’s game against West Ham at the London Stadium when asked to clarify Lossl’s position.

He said: “At the moment I don’t talk about the contract and this situation.

“At the moment I just talk about the next game, which is West Ham.

“We have to focus on this game so I don’t talk about the contract situation.”

And when pushed about whether Lossl was part of his future plans, the Town boss added: “As I said, I won’t say anything to this at the moment.

“At the moment I look at each player, how he is performing on the pitch and this is my focus.

“Because he is particularly crucial - we see him do a lot of work in the community - do you see he would be a miss off the pitch as much as on it if he doesn’t stay around?

“You want to try to do the question once more? I just talk about the game.” JAN Siewert takes his Huddersfield Town team to London to face a formidable West Ham United side today.

The German head coach has seen his match preparations hindered by a deepening injury crisis which left him with just 15 fit players in training on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Siewert has marvelled at West Ham’s squad depth and said the Hammers’ commitment to promoting academy players to the senior team has made them stronger.
