This is for individuals, a class, year group or whole school who play an active role in the community through raising money for charity, a dance or drama performance, or simply helping others.

It could be a sports team that has trained hard, or an orchestra / choir or drama group that have worked together on a performance. Maybe a class within the school has really excelled, or completed a project.

Open to all trainee teachers on placement in Kirklees as part of school led or university led teacher training courses. (NQTs should apply for the Teacher of the Year award below.) THE Examiner Schools Awards is back for the fourth year - and now is the time to nominate any of those shining stars at your school.

We want to hear all the stories about the best teachers, pupils, classes and more as we launch the nomination period for the 2019 awards which are run in association with our new executive partners Stafflex.

Do you know an inspirational teacher? We want to hear about the teachers who show constant dedication, understanding and inspire young people every day.

This is for outstanding school leaders, whose guidance and leadership help to create a dynamic learning environment, where pupils and staff are happy and encouraged to reach their full potential.

From now until Friday 12 April, anyone can enter their schools, teachers, pupils, support staff or even a team / project that your child or school has been involved in.

This prestigious event is your chance to salute our schools across Huddersfield and Kirklees as we aim to find and celebrate the very best.

We are looking for good all rounders Provisions who deserve to be recognised for their fantastic and inspirational work, progress, achievement, and most importantly ‘making a difference’.

We want to hear about your stories, journeys, credentials, new provision or ways of working.
