ESPITE the rather attractive title, this it not an actual hunt for George Clooney – more’s the pity.
However, telly couple
Eam Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford do m make it known that they’d be deli delighted to track down the Hollywood acto actor on their travels.
Th They are in Milan, where George ha happens to own a fabulous lakeside vi villa.
But bar breaking in – although Ruth does try – they’re unlikely to get inside, let alone be invited in for N Nespresso.
“We’ve come to Milan to find out what kind of people have made it Italy’s wealthiest city,” says Ea Eamonn.
Within minutes they are mixing with the super rich, where fashion labels are everything and dogs travel around in expensive handbags.
Among the people they meet are a queen of etiquette who teaches social graces – kiss a woman’s hand (but don’t touch), eat spaghetti with a fork (but no spoon), and so on.
They also hang out with Italian playboy Lapo Elkann, who is worth a cool £600 million due to family money in a Ferrari brand.
Eamonn and Ruth get caught up in the excitement and craziness of Milan Fashion Week and Ruth goes shopping for haute couture doggy clothes with Audrey Titto – Italy’s answer to Paris Hilton.
They also visit the huge villa of the Del Bonos, one of Milan’s oldest families, and end their trip at the weekend retreat of Lake Como, where Ruth is eager to catch a glimpse of famous resident George.
All in all, a ver y posh Italian job.

Gareth Southgate’s team begins their campaign as England takes on the Czech Republic in this first qualifying match.
Kick off at Wembley Stadium is at 7.45pm. Southgate has announced his squad with stars including Kyle Walker, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling.
It’s Wales’ turn on Sunday when they take on Slovakia. The match is on Sky Sports Football and S4C at 2pm and highlights on Match of the Day Wales, BBC1, 10.30pm.
