Council seems set on destroying education
HOUSTON – We Have A Problem! Sorry I could not resist but then it is not far from the truth. We know that Almondbury Community School is failing; it has been for a long time ( destroy our children’s future.
Instead of fiddling whilst Rome burns find a proper solution and ensure these kids have a proper start in life.

British Foreign office minister David Liddington said the Christchurch attack showed the need to stamp out Islamaphobia. I agree, sadly he represents a Party which has been condemned by some of its own members for Islamaphobia.
As Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has said: attacks on mosques, churches, temples or synagogues are unacceptable.
My husband was there that morning visiting a small building by the mast. An elderly chap shouted to him “You’ll need yer hard hat today lad.” At this point the mast was swaying and ice was dropping from it.
Later in the day it fell and it was a miracle no one was injured! We visited the site with the kids. The site had visitors and photographers from near and far plus the requisite icecream van and people were taking souvenirs from the wrekage.
Some years later when we had moved to Penistone Road we woke to find we were over looking a lake at the back of the house due to Fenay Beck bursting.
Cars plus photographers again came from far and wide and – of course – the ice-cream van was there!
