Ex-Leicester star Simpson shines in training for Town
FORMER Leicester City star Danny Simpson, has been training with Huddersfield Town this week – and the veteran defender’s attitude has drawn praise from Danny Cowley.
The 32-year-old – who won the Premier League with the Foxes in 2015/16 – has been a free agent since he was released in the summer.
A player of Simpson’s experience would likely improve Town’s defence, and Cowley was complimentary about the Manchester United academy graduate.

Terriers boss Danny Cowley didn’t shy away from questions about the player’s performances when he faced the media ahead of his side’s visit to West Brom tomorrow.
The manager started by looking at the positives. He praised the athleticism Flo brings to the back line and made the point that ‘defending is an 11-man job’.
But then Cowley admitted: “I think at times he’s been exposed and left to defend lots of space in overload situations, which can be difficult for any player.”
The boss continued: “We’ve spent some time in the video
