Magistrates court hearings
Huddersfield Magistrates recorded the following decisions on August
29:
■Simon Less Jennings, 32, of Grange Road, Batley. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order, as failed to provide acceptable explanations for not attending RAR appointments on
July 26 and August 2. Fined £20.
Danielle Kelly, 36, of Penistone Road, Waterloo, Huddersfield. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order, as failed to provide acceptable explanations for not attending RAR appointments on June 20 and August 5. Fined £20.
■David Pickering, 30, of Fairview Road, Carlinghow, Batley. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order, as failed to attend unpaid work sessions on July 20 and August 3. Fined £224 and ordered to pay £50 costs.
Umar Shezad, 26, of Headfield Road, Dewsbury. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order, as failed to provide acceptable explanations for not attending RAR appointments on November 5, 2018 and January 31, 2019. Dealt with for original offence of assault, community order revoked, and ordered to pay £50 costs.
■John Stuart Swaine, 72, of Spire Court, Marsh, Huddersfield. Speeding on namely A629 Skircoat Road, Halifax on August 7, 2018. Fined £100, ordered to pay a £30 surcharge and £85 costs, driving license endorsed with three points.
Rabena Khan, 50, of Halifax Old Road, Birkby, Huddersfield. Committed assault in Huddersfield on February 2, 2019. Discharged conditionally for six months, restraining order imposed to last until August 28, 2020, ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £20 surcharge and £500 costs.
