TOWN RATED CAMPBELL NETS FIRST GOAL FOR HOMETOWN CLUB BUT GOALKEEPING ERROR SEES LIONS SNATCH DRAW
BATTLING Huddersfield Town ended their seven-match losing run with a point thanks to Fraizer Campbell’s first goal for his hometown club.
It came after 24 minutes from a Karlan Grant tee-up and sent the home contingent in a crowd of 20,781 into rapture.
But the 791 travelling Millwall fans celebrated a Matt Smith equaliser four minutes before the break, following a mistake by goalkeeper Kamil Grabara, and Town will now re-focus to try and achieve their first win in seven months at Stoke City tomorrow night.
Millwall finished the game with 10 men after Shane Ferguson was red-carded for a foul on Town substitute Adama Diakhaby just outside the box, having been earlier booked for a trip on the same player.

Town’s first effort on target came in the sixth minute following excellent approach work by Elias Kachunga, but Karlan Grant’s low drive was well smothered by keeper Martosz Bialkowski.
Millwall responded with a worrying counter-attack resulting in a tame shot from Jed Wallace, and following a corner in the eighth minute, Smith rose unchallenged to head just over the bar.
Town also escaped on 10 minutes following a mistimed backpass from Christopher Schindler, but Grabara was quickly out

of his box to make a sliding clearance. Trevoh Chalobah was next to go close for Town following a free-kick in the 13th minute, but Bialkowski dealt safely with his header from eight yards.
Schindler made a timely clearance in the six-yard box as Millwall threatened moments later, then Grabara had to be alert to collect a deflected shot from Connor Mahoney, who was causing problems for Town wide on the right.
It was from a break on the left, however, that Millwall went
