On Kongolo and Pritchard, Cowley explained: “We would hope that both of them will be back very, very soon.
“That’s what we are hopeful for. They are key players.
“You have to remember we have Kamil (Grabara) who is a young goalkeeper, Jaden Brown who is new to senior football and Lewis O’Brien who is just covering every blade of grass. He pretty much played like two players for 60-odd minutes until he ran out of legs.
“So we have quite a lot of young players in the group, and the experienced players are helping them – and are in a much better place to help them.
“And I think for us, we have some really experienced boys who really care – this experience has really hurt them – and we are just trying to free them up of that.”
