Grabara is used to international duty having come through the age-group ranks, but he’s glad to have taken on more responsibility with the Under-21s.
“I am only 20 but I started playing there when I was 18 at Under-21s level, so it’s not really a massive thing for me now, but I have started being captain now, so I have responsibility for the group - so I need to not only look after myself but look after everyone else as well,” he explained.
“That makes it a little bit different, and hopefully I can make it good.”
So how far is he off a full international cap?
“Maybe next year, maybe the next international break - I haven’t got a clue,” he smiled. “I am not focused on that to be fair.” Huddersfield Town have confirmed two new directors to work alongside Phil Hodgkinson.
