Ford unveils its MPV makeover for 2020
FORD has announced upgrades for its S Max sports activity vehicle and Galaxy people mover with front-end design tweaks, improved front seats designed to help back-pain sufferers and the latest advances in connectivity.
For the 2020 model year, both will come with a revised upper front fascia with a bright chrome upper grille and foglamp surrounds, while more sporty ST-Line models feature a honeycomb upper grille with a black surround and black foglamp surrounds.
The rangetopping S-Max Vignale gets its own unique front-end treatment length and inclination, in addition to back, neck and thigh support. The four-way lumbar adjustment is controlled electronically from a switch on the seat’s side.
The latest FordPass Connect system is available as an option and, in addition to providing WiFi hotspot capability, the technology allows a range of features including notifications of hazards such as road works, broken down vehicles, animals, pedestrians and objects in the road. Information about hazardous driving conditions is delivered to the vehicle over-the-air (wirelessly), giving drivers advanced warning.
