TEA & STORY-TIME WITH FATHER CHRISTMAS

MEET Father

Christmas and his reindeer at Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom from December 7, while enjoying a day out at Shropshire’s only zoo.

Each family will get a private 5-minute visit with Father Christmas complete with presents for the children, and a photo opportunit­y in the Elf Village with Dasher and Blitzen.

Prices start from £14.95 per child aged two+.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA

JOIN Santa Claus as his guest at the breakfast table for a lavish feast while enjoying some Christmas arts, crafts and games.

Parents and children aged two and up can enjoy a perfectly cooked breakfast before leaving with a festive gift. Open from November 23 on selected dates. £9.95 per child.

THE TRAIN TO CHRISTMAS TOWN

BRING the spirit of Christmas to life on a literary visit with Santa by train.

Following Peggy Ellis’ book The Train to Christmas Town which tells th the tale of pyjama-clad children sharing a journey to Christmas T Town with woodland animals and dancing elves, families will make memories to cherish. Suitable for children aged up to 10 and is open from November 29 on selected dates. Prices start from £18 per child.

For those in the north east, the Weardale Railway also hosts a magical Train to Christmas Town event.

SANTA’S GROTTO

ENJOY a Christmas Day out at Knowsley Safari Park, complete with Christmas wonderland.

Nestled in the centre of the foot safari, visitors can tramp along the frosty ground towards Santa’s grotto, seeing giraffes, meerkats, bush dogs and more along the way. Following your visit with Santa – complete with present – warm yourself up with a tasty hot chocolate.

Open from November 23 on selected dates. Prices start from £7.50 per child.

At the North Pole, children can learn elf songs and dances. All participan­ts will meet Santa and leave with an extra special gift bag.

Suitable for children ages 2-8, the exerience is open from November 23 on selected dates. £20 per child.

SANTA’S CHRISTMAS SPECIALS

A DECORATED steam train will transport you in style from Llangollen Station to Lapland (aka Carrog).

Santa will give good boys and girls a gift on the journey and there will be mince pies and Christmas cheer from Santa’s Little Helpers for the adults.

Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and children over the age of one. Under ones travel free with a paying adult but no seat is allocated, they must sit on an adult’s knee.

VISIT Father Christmas in this enchanted forest of Christmas trees and elves. Join him in his magical house to receive a toy and your own baby Christmas tree – a Norway Spruce sapling – to take home and cherish for years to come.

SANTA’S VICTORIAN GROTTO

TRAVEL back in time to the bygone era of the Victorians at the Museum of London this Christmas.

Families with young children can stroll down a lavishly decorated traditiona­l Victorian Walk to the sound of carols in the distance, before finding Santa in his festive grotto. Tell him what you would like for Christmas, snap a photo and he may even give you a little present if you are on the nice list!
