The nine games for Town to save place in Championship

-

HUDDERSFIELD Town have just nine matches to secure their place in the Championship for next season.

Town reporter has made his predictions on the Terriers’ run-in...

NOT as easy a game as we might have touted this as a few weeks ago. Wigan are unbeaten in their last six, over which time only league leaders Leeds United have accumulated more points.

So a draw would not be a terrible result, particularly if results elsewhere once again go Town’s way. But Danny Cowley’s side should have enough to claim the three points if they perform anything like they did in their last two home outings.

Win

FOREST have a less-than-stellar record against teams in the bottom half of the table, they’re pretty average at home, they’ve won just one of their last six and Town have already beaten them once this season.

On the other hand, they are fifth, and we have to predict at least some defeats to maintain any credibility.

GOT to win this one. They’re the worst away team in the division and might well already be all but down by the time this game rolls around.
