The Examiner Schools Awards in association with executive partners Stafflex is returning for its fifth year.
We are looking for the best schools, teachers, support staff, pupils and outstanding projects that have taken place within schools across Huddersfield and Kirklees.
These awards are not just about academic achievement, but about celebrating outstanding work that goes unnoticed – and we want you to shout out about your school, pupils and staff!
We are on the lookout for those who go above and beyond their day-to-day role to nurture and inspire.
Whether you are a teacher, governor, pupil, parent, grandma or grandad, this exciting and prestigious event is your chance to highlight the inspiring work happening in our schools.
The winners will be announced at a special ceremony and lunch in July at Kirklees College, who also sponsor a category, and hosted by BBC presenter Harry Gration.
All nominations received will be considered by our panel of judges and the successful finalists will be revealed in May.
Examiner Editor Wayne Ankers said: “Education is vital to all of our youngsters and we want to celebrate the people who help give our children the best start in life. “We also want to celebrate the best pupils and any special projects that have been done over the last year.
