TOWN have made three mistakes they simply cannot repeat...

Arguably the single biggest cause of Town’s early-season struggles was that the fitness work done in the summer was just wrong.

That’s not suppositio­n on our part – plenty of people at the club have admitted it.

Mark Hudson was the first to do so when he was in caretaker charge, saying after the 2-1 defeat to Cardiff: “We could see what this club expects, for about 65 or 70 minutes, but the game doesn’t last 65 or 70 minutes.

“It is not the quality or the mentality at all, because you can see they have taken on board what we want, but the game is 96 minutes and plus. Our training has to be specific and with the intensity of a game. We will work again this week and we need to get better and better and better and better.
