Officer accused of asking woman for ‘threesome’

A POLICE officer is facing misconduct claims that he propositio­ned a woman for sex while attending an incident of anti-social behaviour.

PC Darren Booth of West Yorkshire Police is alleged to have made inappropri­ate sexual comments while speaking with ‘Miss A’ and also propositio­ned her for sex.

It is claimed that he suggested that Miss A should get a third person involved for a ‘threesome’ and that this could be a regular thing.

PC Booth is said to have arranged to meet her at Glasshough­ton

WMC, near Castleford.

Details of the misconduct case have been released by West Yorkshire Police on the Force website.

The Force says: “Whilst on duty with a colleague, PC Booth attended an incident of antisocial disorder.

“On arrival two of the females involved, Miss A and Miss B, were identified and spoken to. It is alleged that whilst speaking with Miss A, PC Booth:

reported her conversati­on with PC Booth, the propositio­n that he had made and the arrangemen­t to meet that evening.

“She requested that the police attend her address whilst PC Booth was present that evening,” the force said.

“PC Booth finished his shift and drove to Glasshough­ton WMC and met with Miss A as arranged. He then went to her home address where it is alleged that he made further inappropri­ate sexual comments and asked Miss A for a kiss.

“Pursuant to Miss A’s earlier telephone call, police officers attended the address shortly afterwards, escorted PC Booth out of the property.”

The misconduct hearing is due to be heard next week.
