Lockdown rules lifted in 40 wards
THESE are the 40 specific wards across West Yorkshire which have had their local lockdown restrictions lifted.
The Government has announced that from Wednesday, September 2, Kirklees, Bradford and Calderdale will have the same restrictions as the rest of the UK.
But Bradford city and Keighley in Bradford, Halifax in Calderdale and Dewsbury and Batley in Kirklees will have to remain in local lockdown for longer.
It follows discussions with local leaders, the Health Secretary, NHS Test and Trace, the Joint Biosecurity Centre (JBC), and the Chief Medical Officer for England.
