Top jobs up for grabs as bar prepares for opening
MANAGER AND KITCHEN MANAGER
BREWDOG is calling on workers to join its “craft beer revolution” ahead of its new bar opening in Huddersfield town centre.
The spot is set to mark a new era for the Scottish firm, which has announced they will be offering a fresh ‘low and slow’ barbecue concept.
And the brewery is now on the lookout for a general manager and kitchen manager to help run the day-to-day operation on Zetland Street.
BrewDog stressed it was looking for applicants who would help to make people “just as passionate about great craft beer as we are.”
A job advert online explained the successful applicant for the general manager role can expect to be afforded “full and complete control of the BrewDog Huddersfield P&L.” It added: “You will lead and inspire your team, nurturing and developing the next generation of future leaders in the business.”
The kitchen manager, referred to in the job description as “the conductor”, will lead a team of professional chefs and kitchen staff.
YorkshireLive reported yesterday that the brewery had listed its new spot as number 29, which is currently the Zetland Street Canteen. No one there could be reached for comment.
And James Watt, captain of BrewDog, took to LinkedIn on Wednesday to confirm the Huddersfield bar is currently “under construction”.
He added new spots were also opening in Headingley, Leeds and Bradford.
Both Huddersfield roles, along with a full job description and experience requirements, can be found online at: www.startup.jobs.
