Carlos hoping duo can give Town a boost
midfielder Alex Pritchard (ankle) both returned to training earlier this week after getting injured around a month or so ago, and could play a part in the Championship clash at the John Smith’s Stadium subject to a late fitness test.
A return for utility man Juninho
Bacuna from a hamstring injury is a slightly more remote possibility after he missed Town’s 3-0 defeat away to Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
But there is less happy news about centreback Richard Stearman, who is set for a lengthy spell on the treatment table after pulling his hamstring against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Corberan said: “It’s positive in terms of the number players.
“We continue having the same players available that we had in the previous game. That’s always positive news because it means we
of didn’t lose any of the players that were with the team.
“If Pipa finishes well in training he’s one possible player we can add to the squad. Pritchard exactly the same.
“Both are going through their last test and if everything is positive they can be with the squad.
“Bacuna is going to try to train too.
“He didn’t train with the group until Friday so it depends on the feeling of the training. “Of course we cannot make a strong (heavy) training today (Friday) and we will test him a little bit more just to see if he can be available or if he needs to wait a little bit more.
We know Stearman was an important player for the team. We know having alternatives in this position is
necessary
