Podcasts raising funds for Foundation

- By STEVEN CHICKEN @examinerHTAFC

THREE Huddersfield Town podcasts have come together to raise funds for the Town Foundation.

Ooh To Be A..., And He Takes That Chance and The Town Social collide in an end-of-year review and a big Terriers quiz in support of the charity, which aims to improve the lives of young people across Kirkless through such initiatives as providing free breakfasts to children across the area. To help support the cause HTSA have brought together the Examiner’s Steven Chicken with Matt Shaw and Cameron Pope to look back on a rollercoaster of a year for the Terriers and hand out a few awards – like moment of the year and player of the year.

Our special guest quizmaster then joins the show to put our Huddersfield Town knowledge past and present to the test over four rounds. Who will be crowned the ultimate Terriers trivia champion?

All profits from the sale of the video will go to the Town Foundation, and it will initially be exclusively available to watch as a paid video stream at gumroad.com/l/ SuperPod2020.

Viewers can pay what they like from a minimum of £3.

Or if you’re not interested in the video but want to make a contribution to the Town

Foundation anyway, you can text HTF to 70970 to donate £5 or donate via JustGiving searching for

Foundation Christmas Appeal

2020.

Already, the appeal has bust its target of £2,000, with fans donating more than £7,800.

Chicken, Shaw and Pope give their thoughts on how the Cowleys’ reign will be remembered, Carlos Corberan’s start to life at the

John Smith’s Stadium, and their hopes and predictions for what is shaping up to be an interesting and possibly even quite exciting 2021.
