Good Samaritans came to my aid when I tumbled

ON Tuesday, I took a tumble near the Civic Centre around 1.30pm.
Several people came to my assistance and I want to thank you all.
I was a bit dazed, so my apologies if I didn’t thank you at the time.
One lady in particular stayed with me until I felt able to stand and continue with my day.
I’m really sorry that I didn’t ask your name, but if you are reading this you know who you are.
I am now sporting a superb black eye, and a badly swollen hand, but apart from that I’m fine.
So, I thank you all for being good samaritans, and not walking by.

Hospital staff were so kind and caring
MY wife and I were recently fortunate to be invited for vaccination at Holme Valley
Memorial Hospital.
I would like to put on record my sincere thanks to all who were involved in the organisation and execution of this programme.
From the courteous reception of the car parking stewards and assistants/ helpers, to all of the NHS staff, their kindness turned a miserable day into a pleasurable experience.
I’ve no complaints about Royal Mail
ON Monday we received our
Cat Club newsletter by email and with it was a request for subscriptions, and the form to buy the Club 2021 calendar.
I rang the treasurer to ask for the club bank account details so that we could pay by BACs. He arranged for the calendar to be sent.
It arrived on the following day, Tuesday, before 11am. I rang him – he was amazed as it had been posted at 4pm from Sheffield !
There have been many letters complaining about the post but this was a great service.
