Carlos: We can’t keep making late mistakes
CARLOS Corberan wants Huddersfield Town to shed their bad habit of conceding late on in games.
Town went down 2-1 at Barnsley on Boxing Day, with the hosts striking in stoppage time.
It completed a turnaround win for the Reds, cancelling out Rarmani Edmonds-Green’s opener for Town.
The defeat was particularly disappointing as the Terriers had kept four clean sheets in their last five.
But the habit of shipping goals in the last ten minutes of games is one that Corberan is desperate to shed.
They have conceded eight goals in the 80th minute or after this season.
In amongst those have been some costly strikes, including winners for Norwich, Birmingham and Bristol City.
Speaking after the defeat at Oakwell, Corberan said: “In the last 30 seconds we lost concentration.

“At the end, we can’t lose concentration. To defend is very important. We need to learn a lot from this situation.

Town will be looking to maintain their superb recent form at the John
Smith’s where they have won the last four.
Corberan added: turnaround.
“When you lose it’s because you didn’t do something well enough.
“So we need a good reaction to this now.”
