Burnley set to come back in for Lewis in January window

LEWIS O’Brien, one of Huddersfield Town’s star performers, has been linked with a switch away from the club.
The midfielder is reportedly a target for Burnley.
The Sun on Sunday claim that the Premier League side are in for the 22-year-old.
It isn’t the first time the link has been made between the two, however.
In August there were rumblings of a similar move, but nothing materialised.
The added intrigue this time around, however, is that Burnley have just been taken over by new owners.
American company ALK Capital have said funds will be made available to Clarets’ chief Sean Dyche.
New chairman Alan Pace recently told our colleagues at LancsLive: “There are going to be a few things that surprise people. We do think it’s very different to what has gone before.”
O’Brien would fit in with Burnley’s previous model of attracting Championship players.
Town would be loathe to lose one of their star assets. He would certainly command a big transfer fee, given his importance to the side and the fact he is under contract with Carlos Corberan’s side until 2022.
Speaking in November, Town boss Corberan said: “He’s a special player in terms of the effort he’s able to put in every day.
“He is special because of the humility that he has.’’
O’Brien’s deal also has the option of an extra year.
Corberan is clearly a big fan of O’Brien, who scooped the club’s player of the year award last term.
